Singapore Residential Revival

Name: LKE House
Location: Singapore
Project Date: 2017

An abandoned preexisting building was identified by the client as something with the potential to be a valuable and well-developed building. the design tries to absorb the client's direction and take advantage of the 3 facades to create a dialogue between the construction and the nature surrounding it. this way the facade is also a permeable placeholder for nature to punctuate the building. the inside and outside relationships were diluted at different levels creating a different experience at different levels. the living room has a direct connection to the gardens and from the roof, you can visualise the whole extent of the park.
